Grievances and Appeals
Members served by Pursuit of Independence with complaints and concerns regarding specific staff members, other members, and/or the services provided by Pursuit of Independence are asked to discuss these complaints and concerns with the supervisor for the site/service they are served. It is the responsibility of the supervisor of that site/service to offer a solution to these concerns; which may involve other staff or members. Supervisors should be able to resolve complaints and concerns of the members served at his/her site/service with direct communication with the parties involved. There is to be no retribution or retaliation by any staff towards a member because of a complaint.
